Secret Garden - 初めて買った大人のぬり絵

大人になって初めて買ったぬり絵本、ジョハンナ バスフォードさんの「ひみつの花園」。5年ほど前でしょうか、偶然にCostcoで買い物をしているときにみつけたんです。それまで「大人のぬり絵」が存在することすら知らずにいました。この本を開いた瞬間、昔よくぬり絵したことを思い出し、即買いでしたね。ここからGariのぬり絵再開ライフが始まりました。

My first colouring book is Secret Garden by Johanna Basford. It was about five years ago, I happened to find this book at Costco when I had not even known that there were colouring books for adults. As soon as I opened this book, I had this melancholic feeling as I used to colour a lot as a child. This is how my colouring life started.

追記　(14Dec2020) 後から気づいたのですが、実は「ひみつの花園」を買う前にSue Cocciaというアーティストのぬり絵本を持っていたのです。自分の記憶はあてにならんなぁ。

P.S. (added on 14Dec2020) Later, I realized there was another colouring book I purchased before Secret Garden. My true first colouring book was Sue Coccia’s Lewis and Clark Critters!
